Privacy Policy

Username. The display name you choose. It's stored on our servers so opponents can find you and so your scores can be labelled.

Recovery code. A one-time code used to restore your account if you lose access to this device.

Recovery email (optional). If you choose to link an email address, we store it so we can send your recovery code to you if you lose access to this device. This is entirely optional — you can play without one.

Game history and scores. Solo leaderboard entries (score, difficulty, time) and two-player match results (who played, who won, final marks).

Device preferences. Sound, haptics and default difficulty are stored only on your device, not on our servers.

Advertising identifiers (future). Once advertising is enabled, the ad SDK we use may collect device and advertising identifiers, approximate location and basic usage signals in order to serve and measure ads. No ad network is connected today.

To run the game: to show leaderboards, match players together, keep head-to-head records and restore your identity from a recovery code. Advertising data, when it exists, will be used to fund the free version of the game.

Cross It has no email or password sign-in. Your identity is a random internal ID stored on your device plus a one-time recovery code. Anyone holding that code can restore your identity, so keep it private. If you lose it and clear your device, that identity cannot be recovered.

We don't sell your data. Usernames and scores are visible to other players on leaderboards. Data is kept until you delete your account.

Settings → Delete my account permanently removes your player record and leaderboard entries. Past match records are anonymized (your username is replaced with a generic placeholder) rather than deleted outright, so opponents' game history isn't affected. This cannot be undone.
